My grandparents: Herbert and Ada Daly are buried here. My parents Edward and Hazel Aldridge were married here 5.4.1947 and their 5 children (including myself) were baptised and confirmed at St John's. My son Daniel Nankervis and most of his cousins were also baptised here. My sister Lynne was married here. My father's mother (Amy Aldridge) did a lot of voluntary fundraising for the church. This photo brings back a lot of memories as I used to help ring the bells after Sunday School each week.
