This is St John's Church and I believe it to be a photograph taken in 1929 - big snow fall that year. I have seen others taken at St John's with the snow at that time. Ann Gugler
Re-photo is taken in portrait rather than landscape. Note the difference in size of the trees and hedges.

I think this is supposed to be St John's Church, rather than Sir John's.
