This photograph is back to front - the small area now on the right is Klensendorlffe's stone villa and Kaye's slab hut - The stone from Klensendorlffe's stone villa built from memory around 1839 was knocked down around 1924 and the stone spawled and used as a base under Commonwealth Avenue which was a dual comcrete road. Kaye's slab hut was reduced to the big fire place which was incorporated in the club house of the Royal Canberra Golf Club.
