This is the playground at Acton - the one at Corroboree Park is open and has HL Lasseter in the photograph - like this one - published in the Canberra Community News. From memory - 1926 - part of the work of the Social Service Association - the Federal Capital Commission supplied the material and the locals the labour. Westlake and Westridge also had playgrounds erected and tennis courts.
